Ralph Mailliard (Ralph Jacob Mailliard) was born on October 10, 1905 in Randolph, Nebraska. After going to high school at Randolph (NE), Mailliard attended Creighton University. Mailliard made his professional debut in the NFL in 1929 with the Chicago Bears. He played for the Chicago Bears for his entire 1 year career.
