Ralph Heikkinen (Ralph I. Heikkinen) was born on May 14, 1917 in Hancock, Michigan. After going to high school at Bessemer (MI), Heikkinen attended the University of Michigan. Heikkinen made his professional debut in the NFL in 1939 with the Brooklyn Dodgers. He played for the Brooklyn Dodgers for his entire 1 year career.
