Born on December 5, 1887 in Tyndall, South Dakota, Raleigh Aitchison (Raleigh Leonidas Aitchison) played for the Brooklyn Superbas for his entire 3 year career. Aitchison broke into the bigs on April 19, 1911 with the Brooklyn Superbas, and put up a 2.66 ERA in 172.1 innings pitched in 1914, his rookie year.
