Rain Saves India

With less than 30 minutes of play left in the day and a very wet outfield, India look to have been saved from defeat and handed a draw. India went into tea at 282/9 still 98 runs from victory, more importantly 1 wicket away from defeat, when the rains came down. Since then there has been no play. It is still raining from the looks of it and does not seem to be stopping so the Indian team can breathe easy and thank their lucky stars for this miraculous escape. Dhoni was the last man putting up a fight with an unbeaten 76 and was at the crease with last man Sreesanth when the heavens opened. England will surely be disappointed having played so well and having the game robbed from them at the brink of victory.

This is so unfortunate... But they can go on as late as they like though can't they? As long as there is sufficient light?
