Rain, Rain, Go Away . . . Sox and Rangers Delayed Again

For the second straight day, the Texas Rangers and Boston Red Sox were rained out at Fenway Park on Sunday. The two teams will probably make-up the game on July 20. The two teams are already playing one doubleheader when the Rangers return on June 9-11. Both want to avoid playing two doubleheaders in one weekend. Rangers manager Jon Daniels said: "We'd like to avoid playing five games in three days that necessitates a lot of player moves." Kevin Millwood, scheduled for Sunday, will pitch Monday against the New York Yankees. Rookie John Koronka, scheduled to start on Saturday against the Red Sox, will now pitch on Tuesday.
