Born on February 15, 1975 in Panama City, Panama, Rafael Medina (Rafael Eduardo Medina) played for the Florida Marlins for his entire 2 year career. Medina broke into the bigs on April 2, 1998 with the Florida Marlins, and put up a 6.01 ERA in 67.1 innings pitched in 1998, his rookie year.
