Rafael Bournigal (Rafael Antonio (Pelletier) Bournigal) was born on May 12, 1966 in Azua, Azua (Dominican Republic). He made his Major League debut on September 1, 1992 for the Los Angeles Dodgers. In 1996, his rookie year, he hit .242 with 0 home runs and 18 RBI. Bournigal played for the Los Angeles Dodgers, Oakland Athletics and Seattle Mariners over the course of his 7 year career.
