June 24, 1998: Drafted by the Denver Nuggets in the 1st round (3rd overall) in 1998.
February 21, 2002: Denver Nuggets traded Nick Van Exel, Avery Johnson, Tariq Abdul-Wahad, and Raef LaFrentz to the Dallas Mavericks for Juwan Howard, Donnell Harvey, Tim Hardaway and a 2002 first-round pick.
October 20, 2003: Boston Celtics traded Antoine Walker, and Tony Delk to the Dallas Mavericks for Raef LaFrentz, Jiri Welsch, Chris Mills, and a first-round pick in the 2004 draft.
June 28, 2006: Portland Trail Blazers traded Sebastian Telfair, Theo Ratliff, and a 2nd round selection in 2008 to the Boston Celtics for Dan Dickau, Raef LaFrentz, and the rights to Randy Foye.
