Quilvio Veras

Quilvio Veras (Quilvio Alberto (Perez) Veras) was born on April 3, 1971 in Santo Domingo, Distrito Nacional (Dominican Republic). He made his Major League debut on April 25, 1995 for the Florida Marlins. In 1995, his rookie year, he hit .261 with 5 home runs and 32 RBI. Veras played for the Florida Marlins, San Diego Padres and Atlanta Braves over the course of his 7 year career.
There is some disagreement on what was Quilvio Veras's most productive season. Some believe that it was 1995, when he stole 56 bases. However, others believe that it was 1999, when he stole 30 bases and hit for a .280 average.
