Acquired

2007

Signed as a free agent with the Edmonton Eskimos on September 2, 2007.McCord was a mid-season signing by Edmonton, where he played in three games. He caught six passes for 48 yards and recorded two defensive tackles.

2006

The Blue Bombers signed McCord as a free agent this past off-season.After not playing football in 2005, McCord played in seven games for Winnipeg in 2006. McCord caught 17 passes for 248 yards, including a CFL career best of three catches for 91 yards September 3 vs. Saskatchewan.


2005

McCord did not play football in 2005.

2004

McCord joined the Oakland Raiders as a free agent. He spent time on the Raiders’ practice roster but did not see any game action. He joined the Raiders after attending spring workouts with the Detroit Lions.

2003

McCord appeared in nine games for the Atlanta Falcons, including two starts. He finished the ’03 campaign with nine receptions for 121 yards, two rushes for two yards and four defensive tackles.

2002

McCord played in nine games for the Atlanta Falcons and snared 11 receptions for 253 yards, including a season-long of 60 yards and had six catches of 20 or more yards. He also had one pass receiving touchdown. McCord also recorded one kick return for 39 yards and four defensive tackles.

2001

McCord was a seventh round pick of the Atlanta Falcons in the 2001 NFL Draft. He played in seven games his rookie season, finishing with three receptions for 53 yards, including two catches of 20-plus yards. McCord also had two rushes for 11 yards and two kick returns for 39 yards.

College

McCord emerged as a go-to receiver by his senior year at Kentucky. One of his best collegiate performances was also his last. In his final college game he had six catches for 157 yards and two TDs in front of a crowd of 106,437 fans.

Personal

McCord enjoys working out and spending time with his children in the off-season. He is an avid video game fan and lists Madden Football as his favourite game.
