Putt Choate (Mark Putnam Choate) was born on December 11, 1956 in Big Spring, Texas. After going to high school at Coahoma (TX), Choate attended Southern Methodist University. Choate made his professional debut in the NFL in 1987 with the Green Bay Packers. He played for the Green Bay Packers for his entire 1 year career.
