Punch Knoll (Charles Elmer Knoll) was born on October 7, 1881 in Evansville, Indiana. He made his Major League debut on April 27, 1905 for the Washington Senators. In 1905, his rookie year, he hit .213 with 0 home runs and 29 RBI. Knoll played for the Washington Senators for his entire 1 year career.
