Pudge Wyland (Guido B. Wyland) was born on June 5, 1891 in Minden, Iowa. After going to high school at Moline (IL), Wyland attended the University of Iowa. Wyland made his professional debut in the APFA in 1920 with the Rock Island Independents. He played for the Rock Island Independents for his entire 1 year career.
