A little while ago the 2008 AFC, and NFC Pro Bowl selection show on NFL Network revealed this year's Pro Bowl selections.  Here is both the AFC, and NFC rosters.

First of all, congrats to Braylon Edwards. He deserved to be there for sure. I'm also happy to see Jared Allen and Rob Bironas make the Pro Bowl roster. Allen's having an amazing year and Bironas is just freakin awesome.

Jared Allen is good. Mario Williams is awesome (both for being a great player and doing the hula dance on Thursday against the Broncos). Major snubbage.

What I found more interesting is not so much who gets named to the teams but in the end - who actually plays. 33% turnover in Pro Bowl Teams from now until the game - Over or Under?

Yeah, I am very disappointed that he didn't make it too. He does deserve it, I think it should've been LT, Parker, and Taylor instead of Addai. I am also disappointed that Mario Williams didn't make it.

Fred's the first reserve for the running backs...hopefully one of the other guys will have/fake an injury. I'm sure Fred will gladly go in his place. TJ Whosyamama is having a good year, but I have issues sending guys on garbage teams having good years over guys having great years on great teams. Wes Welker: 96 (Ninety fackin six!) catches, 1004 yards, 8 touchdowns. He could have taken TJ's place, in my biased opinion.

Meaning there's just too much talent in the AFC. If he was in the NFC he would have easily beaten out Marion Barber, but probably not Westbrook, and AP.

I think Hasselbeck is a good choice. Brees just started off to slow. Westbrook got shafted not being the starter. Trent Cole got the shaft not being named to the team.

Couple thoughts off the top of my head:

Westbrook got the shaft again...should've been the starter. Welker got robbed...should've made the team over TJ Who's you mamma Ogden got on the team by name alone...had a horrible year. Torry Holt is still an amazing player None of the backs in the NFC that made the pro bowl last year made it this year. I sure hope Trent Cole and Mike Patterson got lots of consideration; Cole got flat out robbed. Osi Umenyiora can thank the Eagles for his pro bowl nod It's nice that Sean Taylor was voted onto the team, but he took a spot away from someone who deserved it.

Did Champ Bailey get in based on name? I honestly don't know; he's been awfully quiet this year

That's a classy move by the voters to put Sean Taylor in there. It's gonna make for some sad moments in Hawaii, but he had a great career and probably would've made the game if his life hadn't gotten cut tragically short.

I think Trent Cole should have been in. Wes Welker definately deserves a spot. Fred Robbins has had a pro-bowl callibur year once again and gets no respect. I can see why Hasselbeck made it but I would have liked to see Jeff Garcia. Same with the AFC I cant argue against Roethlisberger but I would have liked to see Garrard. How about Chris Snee he is a dominant right guard. Kind of suprised to see Tony Gonzalez he hasnt really been all that impressive this year, not all his fault but still. Something that bothered me, Im not saying that he deserved to make it but, Justin Tuck had 10 sacks and wasnt even on the pro-bowl ballot.

I'm fine with Westbrook not being the starter, but he should deffinatly be ahead of Marion Barber... and Trent Cole was robbed beyond belief... and yes, I sound like a homer right now, but objectively I still believe Cole deserved to be in this year...

Trufant and Sharper deserved it...but Newman and Harris are complete jokes. Newman has had a few picks this year, but teams with talented wideouts don't respect the guy (and rightfully so)...Harris is a cheap player. I remember watching the guy in philly and he could barely cut it as a nickle corner, let alone a starter...still pulls cheap shit...

Hamlin...meh...i dunno...

sounds like the pro-bowl votes just watched too much fox...

Harris plays a rough game but I wouldn't call him cheap. Just look at how modern receivers push off. However, I think he is about to cross the line into over the hill. 2-3 years ago, I thought he was the best corner in the league. He would shut down anybody he lined up against (Chad Johnson agreed with me). Now...not so much

Vrabel may be having his best year ever...but who knows if it's as good as another LB? He's always be a good player, not a great one. That may be a sentimental selection (11 years, never made it). I'm not complaining. That being said, Fred Taylor is on line 1...
