Colorado Crush 9-8 at San Jose SaberCats 13-3: Outside of a Crush playoff win against SJ two years ago, the SaberCats have owned this series, winning 6 of the 7 games by an average score of 71-45 including a 72-44 drubbing this year in SJ. Colorado isn't facing a second year team with a second year coach. San Jose has neither problem, bringing the both 2nd ranked offense and defense to the table, in their house where they've lost 11 of 84 games in 8 years. I see too much high powered 'Cats for the Crush to overcome

Columbus Destroyers 8-9 at Dallas Desperados 15-1: This is the 9th meeting between these teams, with Dallas winning the previous 7 of 8, none in the playoffs. While Dallas owns the series, the Destroyers gave Dallas all they could handle this season, holding a 23-point lead at the half in a two point loss in Dallas in week 6, then falling by 9 in week 13. This year is Dallas' year, and they'll send Columbus home with a loss.

Philadelphia Soul 9-8 at Georgia Force 14-2: This is just the 3rd meeting between these teams, with each winning on the other's home field. Philly takes a 4-4 road record into the Philips Center, where the Force posted a clean 8-0 slate. Philly played a good, tough defensive game last Friday, but a 2-week rested Doug Plank team at home will not be beaten.

Los Angeles Avengers 10-7 at Chicago Crush 12-4: The series is even at 4 wins apiece, with Chicago winning the lone playoff meeting two years ago. This year they split 2 games, LA winning by 3 in LA Week 14 while Chicago crushed LA by 35 in Week 5. Since that loss in LA, Chicago's defense has buckled down, giving up less than 37ppg over the past three games while averaging 56 per over the same period. Mike Hohensee coached teams rarely lose twice in the same season to the same team, and this will not be one of the few exceptions.
