Pretzel Pezzullo

Born on December 10, 1910 in Bridgeport, Connecticut, Pretzel Pezzullo (John Pezzullo) played for the Philadelphia Phillies for his entire 2 year career. Pezzullo broke into the bigs on April 18, 1935 with the Philadelphia Phillies, and put up a 6.40 ERA in 84.1 innings pitched in 1935, his rookie year.
