Preston Johnston (Luther Preston Johnston) was born on October 12, 1921 in Newcastle, Texas. After going to high school at Newcastle (TX), Johnston attended Southern Methodist University. Johnston made his professional debut in the AAFC in 1946 with the Miami Seahawks. He played for the Miami Seahawks for his entire 1 year career.
