Polly Koch (Walter Henry Koch) was born on January 27, 1895 in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. After going to high school at North Division (Milwaukee, WI), Koch attended the University of Wisconsin. Koch made his professional debut in the APFA in 1920 with the Rock Island Independents. He played for the Rock Island Independents for his entire 1 year career.
