im not gonna lie DDub, I voted for Yzerman purely because of his NHL 93 skills...I didn't see Gordie Howe score 84 goals in 16 playoff games against the computer with the offsides turned off!
Gordy Howe had a way of playing that would almost be all for none had he played in this day and age. in the days of mask-less goalies, Howe would send his first shot of the game scorching past a goalies head at over 100mph. This, he said, would have them scared all game and open up the bottom of the net for the rest of his shots. He was all about finding any weak spot and dominating...but I still chose Steve Yzerman, who I feel was a better all around player.
