Seattle was pretty surprising, but basically gave up when the Angels swept them in August.

That's true. I thought they were going to be on top of the playoffs, much more, be in the playoffs. That was kinda surprising. I also found it surprising that Chicago was battling for last place with the Royals for a while. At least they're definitely in 4th NOW.
