Field Turf II at the Trop is pretty damned nice stuff... Artificial surfaces have come a long way since "Astro" turf has been long gone.

Let's say you have a stadium that is being used for football, baseball, concerts and motor bike racing. You need to have a surface that can withstand all that torture and foot traffic. Sorry, boys... since I live in Houston and since it is the home of Astroturf, I think it's a needed evil.
