Agreed. I think he should've done maybe 1 for each sport or something. Baseball, basketball, football, hockey, maybe soccer. If not soccer, then do two college sports, one basketball and one football or something like that.

That's not a rivalry because it doesn't stand the test of time. In 5 years when both teams aremediocre, it ceases to be a rivalry. Yanks-Sox, Cowboys-'Skins, Devils-Rangers, these will always be rivalries.

Agreed. Will the Pats and Colts still be a rivalry after Manning and Brady retire? Also, a sports rivalry is usually a good one if the fans hate each other. Take Ohio and Michigan for example, or the Red Sox and Yankee fans. They hate each other with a passion. Trust me, I should know. Those of you who know me know why.

There are a lot of great rivalries, and a lot of minor ones. It's too bad that we can only put (tops) 5 for each poll. We should change that.
