Playing With The Enemy

Book Summary

After proving himself as a baseball phenom in the 1940's, Gene Moore entered World War II as a soldier. When at a prison camp he taught the Germans how to play baseball, and faced a field of broken dreams thereafter. The foreward is written by Jim Morris (baseball player that the movie "The Rookie" was based upon). Excellent book, excellent story, excellent author. A book well worth reading. Soon to be a major motion picture.
