Rogers is a 24-year-old reliever in AA. He could end up being a decent reliever, about as much as you could ask for to get rid of Casey.

The real news is that the Tigers sent down Chris Shelton to make room for Casey. Who would have thought that would be the case back when Shelton was busy hitting homer after homer in April?

Yeah, a lot of people, ESPN especially, tried to make Shelton the next Pujols. Here he is being replaced by Sean Casey and a trip to the minors.
