Pickles Dillhoefer (William Martin Dillhoefer) was born on October 13, 1893 in Cleveland, Ohio. He made his Major League debut on April 16, 1917 for the Chicago Cubs. In 1920, his rookie year, he hit .263 with 0 home runs and 13 RBI. Dillhoefer played for the Chicago Cubs, Philadelphia Phillies and St. Louis Cardinals over the course of his 5 year career.
