Phillip James (Phillip Ray James) was born on December 3, 1964 in Atlanta, Texas. After going to high school at Jack Yates (Houston, TX), James attended Southern University. James made his professional debut in the NFL in 1987 with the New Orleans Saints. He played for the New Orleans Saints for his entire 1 year career.
