Phil Tomney

Phil Tomney (Philip H. Tomney) was born on June 17, 1863 in Reading, Pennsylvania. He made his Major League debut on September 7, 1888 for the Louisville Colonels. In 1889, his rookie year, he hit .213 with 4 home runs and 38 RBI. Tomney played for the Louisville Colonels for his entire 3 year career.
