Phil Swiadon (Philip Edward Swiadon) was born on December 5, 1914 in Brooklyn, New York. After going to high school at Erasmus Hall (Brooklyn, NY), Swiadon attended New York University. Swiadon made his professional debut in the NFL in 1943 with the Brooklyn Dodgers. He played for the Brooklyn Dodgers for his entire 1 year career.
