Born on February 1, 1976 in Texarkana, Texas, Phil Norton (Phillip Douglas Norton) played for the Chicago Cubs and Cincinnati Reds over the course of his 3 year career. Norton broke into the bigs on August 3, 2000 with the Chicago Cubs, and put up a 5.07 ERA in 65.2 innings pitched in 2004, his rookie year.
