Phil Marion (Phillip Eugene Marion) was born on June 18, 1902 in , IL. After going to high school at Northwestern (Detroit, MI), Marion attended the University of Michigan and Washington & Jefferson College. Marion made his professional debut in the NFL in 1925 with the Detroit Panthers. He played for the Detroit Panthers for his entire 2 year career.
