Phil Harris (Phillip Leon Harris) was born on September 13, 1944 in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. After going to high school at Thomas Jefferson (San Antonio, TX), Harris attended the University of Texas. Harris made his professional debut in the NFL in 1966 with the New York Giants. He played for the New York Giants for his entire 1 year career.
