Phil Frye (Philip Frye) was born on December 20, 1958 in Washington, District Of Columbia. After going to high school at John Marshall (Rochester, MN), Frye attended California Lutheran University. Frye made his professional debut in the NFL in 1987 with the Minnesota Vikings. He played for the Minnesota Vikings for his entire 1 year career.
