Phil Francis (Phillip K. Francis) was born on January 10, 1957 in Kewanee, Illinois. After going to high school at Beaverton (OR), Francis attended Stanford University. Francis made his professional debut in the NFL in 1979 with the San Francisco 49ers. He played for the San Francisco 49ers for his entire 2 year career.
Most people believe that 1979 was Phil Francis's best year.
