Phil Bradley (Philip Poole Bradley) was born on March 11, 1959 in Bloomington, Indiana. He made his Major League debut on September 2, 1983 for the Seattle Mariners. In 1984, his rookie year, he hit .301 with 0 home runs and 24 RBI. Bradley played for the Seattle Mariners, Philadelphia Phillies, Baltimore Orioles and Chicago White Sox over the course of his 8 year career.

There is some disagreement on what was Phil Bradley's most productive season. Some believe that it was 1985, when he slugged 26 home runs, hit for a .300 average and knocked in 88 runs. However, others believe that it was 1987, when he stole 40 bases, hit for a .297 average and knocked in 67 runs.
