Peter Gammons Released From Hospital

61 year old Peter Gammons was released Monday from a Boston hospital where he was being treated for a brain aneurysm. Gammons was moved to an undisclosed rehabilitation center, his wife Gloria said.

"Peter, his family and his doctors are very pleased with the progress that Peter has made following surgical repair of a brain aneurysm," she said in the statement released by the hospital.

finally! someone posts some GOOD news on this site!

Get well, Petey! (Did anyone get/hear his album yet?) I always thought Mr Gammons was one of the few people who HAD to be liked by everyone. It should say this in his bio: THE most credible journalist, possibly EVER!

I once nicknamed a co-worker "an un-named AL West source" in honor of Peter.
