[edit] Biography
Peter Francisco is a former South African professional snooker player, nephew of Silvino Francisco.
He is most famous for a match-fixing scandal in a first round match against Jimmy White in the 1995 World Snooker Championship. Before the match, many bets were placed on Francisco losing by the scoreline of 10-2, which was the result. It later transpired that he was involved in the scam, and the World Snooker Association banned him for five years.
