Pete Ward (Peter Thomas Ward) was born on July 26, 1937 in Montreal, Quebec (Canada). He made his Major League debut on September 21, 1962 for the Baltimore Orioles. In 1963, his rookie year, he hit .295 with 22 home runs and 84 RBI. Ward played for the Baltimore Orioles, Chicago White Sox and New York Yankees over the course of his 9 year career.

Most people believe that Pete Ward's best season was 1963, when he slugged 22 home runs, hit for a .295 average and knocked in 84 runs.
