Pete Tinsley (Elijah Pope Tinsley) was born on March 16, 1913 in Spartanburg, South Carolina. Tinsley attended the University of Georgia. Tinsley made his professional debut in the NFL in 1938 with the Green Bay Packers. He played for the Green Bay Packers for his entire 8 year career.
Most people believe that 1941 was Pete Tinsley's best year.
