Born on April 25, 1891 in Black Diamond, Washington, Pete Standridge (Alfred Peter Standridge) played for the St. Louis Cardinals and Chicago Cubs over the course of his 2 year career. Standridge broke into the bigs on September 19, 1911 with the St. Louis Cardinals, and put up a 3.61 ERA in 112.1 innings pitched in 1915, his rookie year.
