Pete Schaffnit (Peter Cornelius Schaffnit) was born on June 29, 1903 in , CO. After going to high school at Kern County (Bakersfield, CA), Schaffnit attended Univeristy of California. Schaffnit made his professional debut in the NFL in 1926 with the Los Angeles Buccaneers. He played for the Los Angeles Buccaneers for his entire 1 year career.
