Pete Pihos (Peter Louis Pihos) was born on October 22, 1923 in Orlando, Florida. After going to high school at Austin (Chicago, IL), Pihos attended Indiana University. Pihos made his professional debut in the NFL in 1947 with the Philadelphia Eagles. He played for the Philadelphia Eagles for his entire 9 year career.
Most people believe that 1953 was Pete Pihos's best year, as he hauled in 63 receptions, had 1049 receiving yards and caught 10 TD passes.
