Born on June 12, 1914 in Aberdeen, Washington, Pete Naktenis (Peter Ernest Naktenis) played for the Philadelphia Athletics and Cincinnati Reds over the course of his 2 year career. Naktenis broke into the bigs on June 13, 1936 with the Philadelphia Athletics.
