Pete Mills (Sullivan Mills) was born on May 29, 1942 in Calvert, Texas. After going to high school at I.M. Terrell (Fort Worth, TX), Mills attended Coffeyville JC and Wichita State University. Mills made his professional debut in the AFL in 1965 with the Buffalo Bills. He played for the Buffalo Bills for his entire 2 year career.

Most people believe that 1965 was Pete Mills's best year.
