Pete Mehringer (Peter Joseph Mehringer) was born on July 15, 1910 in Jetmore, Kansas. Mehringer attended the University of Kansas. Mehringer made his professional debut in the NFL in 1934 with the Chicago Cardinals. He played for the Chicago Cardinals for his entire 3 year career.
