Pete Marcus (Peter Paul Marcus) was born on December 17, 1917 in Rilton, Pennsylvania. After going to high school at Uniontown (PA), Marcus attended the University of Kentucky and Western Kentucky University. Marcus made his professional debut in the NFL in 1944 with the Washington Redskins. He played for the Washington Redskins for his entire 1 year career.
