Pete Lammons

Pete Lammons (Peter Spencer Lammons, Jr.) was born on October 20, 1943 in Crockett, Texas. After going to high school at Jacksonville (TX), Lammons attended the University of Texas. Lammons made his professional debut in the AFL in 1966 with the New York Jets. He played in the AFL for 4 years, playing for the New York Jets the entire time. Lammons also played in the NFL for 3 years, playing for the New York Jets and Green Bay Packers over the course of his 3 year NFL career.
Most people believe that 1966 was Pete Lammons's best year, as he hauled in 41 receptions, had 565 receiving yards and caught 4 TD passes.
