Pete Ladd

Born on July 17, 1956 in Portland, Maine, Pete Ladd (Peter Linwood Ladd) played for the Houston Astros, Milwaukee Brewers and Seattle Mariners over the course of his 6 year career. Ladd broke into the bigs on August 17, 1979 with the Houston Astros, and put up a 5.24 ERA in 91 innings pitched in 1984, his rookie year.
Most people believe that Pete Ladd's best season was 1986, when he posted a 3.82 ERA and struck out 53 batters.
