Pete LaCock (Ralph Pierre LaCock) was born on January 17, 1952 in Burbank, California. He made his Major League debut on September 6, 1972 for the Chicago Cubs. In 1975, his rookie year, he hit .229 with 6 home runs and 30 RBI. LaCock played for the Chicago Cubs and Kansas City Royals over the course of his 9 year career.

Most people believe that Pete LaCock's best season was 1979, when he hit for a .277 average and knocked in 56 runs.
