Pete Knisely (Peter Cole Knisely) was born on August 11, 1887 in Waynesburg, Pennsylvania. He made his Major League debut on September 4, 1912 for the Cincinnati Reds. In 1915, his rookie year, he hit .246 with 0 home runs and 17 RBI. Knisely played for the Cincinnati Reds and Chicago Cubs over the course of his 3 year career.
