Pete Johns (Peter Murray Johns) was born on August 14, 1945 in Cleveland, Ohio. After going to high school at Mayfield (Cleveland, OH), Johns attended Tulane University. Johns made his professional debut in the AFL in 1967 with the Houston Oilers. He played for the Houston Oilers for his entire 2 year career.
